Constable of Baseta on behalf of the Earl of Vemion. The keep sits on the edge of Taelda lands; Sir Eres is noted for his diplomatic approach to the neighbouring barbarian tribes, actively encouraging trade of civilised goods (excluding weapons) for furs and herbs. A robust and jolly widower of middle years, said to keep one of the finer tables and cellars in the region. Hosts frequent hunting parties.

Sir Eres is increasingly troubled by his son Sir Miren’s erratic and secretive behaviour since returning from the Crusades. A series of horrific murders has terrorised Baseta — bodies found with organs missing. Sir Eres suspects his son but cannot bring himself to act. The town looks to him for answers he cannot give. Rumors of a lycanthrope have terrified the community and strained relations with the Taelda.
