The Coin & Broom is a large tavern popular with urban labourers, for whom it serves as a hiring hall. The food is simple but hot and plentiful. Lorel’s wife, Cersyn, makes the ale; her brews are dark, rich, and appreciated by all. The tavern occupies the ground floor of a three-story tenement. Nine families live on the two upper floors, many of them tavern regulars.
