Marnyle of Ludos is the Pelnala (high priestess) of the temple of Peoni in Tashal. The Tashal temple is a joint temple shared by the two orders of Peoni — the Balm of Joy and the Irreproachable Order. Most ceremonies are performed jointly in the Hall of Ritual, presided over by the Pelnala and her two deputies. Marnyle is assisted by a deputy from each order, a common practice in joint temples.
