Patnos of Ubent is the cook at Caer Heru. He is a large, jovial man who enjoys his own cooking. The kitchen bustles with activity most days under his direction. A dovecote on the roof supplies birds for pigeon pie, a favourite of the constable. Patnos and some of the servants sleep in the tower room off the kitchen.
