Mylelim (Forest)

Shire: Vemionshire Status: Royal forest

The willows, elms, and maples of the low, marshy Mylelim Forest are strangled by thick walls of thorny brier. Timberwrights and charcoalers are active here, but Mylelim is not well patrolled aside from its eastern edge. The warden is Sir Athyn Ewanth, Bailiff of Ilym, whose father was slain at the hands of Clan Losrath in a duel on the Naniom Bridge. The clans now nurture a bitter feud.

Together with Kythlim Forest to the south, Mylelim forms the western wall of the Forests of Lim. The forest bounds Grimruld Hundred to the east and merges with Rumerill Forest to the northeast as the ground rises toward the Sorkin foothills. As royal demesne, the forest is subject to strict forest law. Rights of hunting, timber, and pannage are reserved to the crown and may only be exercised by grant or licence.
