The Sheriff of Vemionshire is the chief royal law enforcement officer for Vemionshire. Appointed by the monarch, the sheriff is responsible for maintaining the king’s peace, collecting royal revenues, and administering justice in the shire courts. The sheriff commands the Constables of Keeps and Castles, Forest Wardens (one per hundred), Bailiffs of Hundreds, and Bailiffs of Royal Manors within the shire.
