• Royal offices are appointed positions; the monarch personally selects all holders.
• Some individuals hold multiple titles: Troda Dariune is both Earl of Balim and Exchequer Royal; Orsin Firith is both Baron of Kobing and Warden of Oselmarch; Chimin Indama is both Baron of Getha and Sheriff of Nephshire.
• Sheriffs have authority over Forest Wardens (one per hundred), Constables of Keeps/Castles, Bailiffs of Hundreds, and Bailiffs of Royal Manors.
