Lasar was granted the master tenancy of his building by the guildmaster some years ago after being badly injured by a rolling log. His right leg is lame and withered but he uses a crutch to hobble about with remarkable agility. He lives with a devoted wife, three sons, an unmarried sister, and an elderly uncle. Lasar is responsible for three other tenant families in his building.
