Vemion Stream
The Vemion Stream is a shallow watercourse draining the Vemion Plain in eastern Vemionshire. Fordable at many points along its length, the stream is of limited navigational value but provides water to the settlements and farmland of the plain.
Course
The Vemion Stream drains the broad Vemion Plain, flowing south past Minarsas and Athelren, through Tishilan Hundred before joining larger watercourses. The stream is shallow and fordable at many points, and seasonal flooding has historically caused damage to structures along its banks. An old mill at Minarsas was destroyed by flooding in 710 TR.
Crossings
- Hindertis Ford — a ford on the road from Minarsas to Nenda, at the boundary between Atressa and Grimruld hundreds. Hindertis Ford serves as the moot seat of Grimruld Hundred.
Settlements
- Minarsas — seat of the Earl of Vemion, located in Atressa Hundred.
- Athelren — the Vemionshire shiremoot, located in Tishilan Hundred.
