Medrik I

Title: King of Kaldor (188–192) House: Clan Tane Also: King of Kingdom of Serelind (162–188)

Founder of the Kingdom of Kaldor. Originally ruler of Kingdom of Serelind, he crushed the eastern Taelda at the Battle of Noneth (180), then united Serelind, Kingdom of Pagostra, and Kingdom of Kephria, proclaiming the Kingdom of Kaldor in 188 after seizing Tashal.

Legends say he was aided by a great jeweled sword (the Sword of Calsten), a gift from the King of Azadmere.

Fisen keep was used as a mustering point by his forces. Medrik’s Banner and Medrik’s Spear, purported relics of the great king, are displayed at Fisen.
